Set Photos Of "Spider-Noir" Filming With Nicolas Cage Online

Excitement is building as the first set photos of Nicolas Cage in his role as Spider-Man Noir have been released. The live-action series, titled Spider-Noir, is set in 1930s New York and will explore Cage’s character, Ben Reilly, a washed-up private investigator with a hidden past as a superhero. Cage reprises his role from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, though this time, he brings the noir-styled hero to life in a more mature and darker narrative.

The images, shared by Just Jared, reveal Cage dressed in Spider-Noir’s signature black trench coat and fedora, captured in a scene where his character seems to be knocked over by an unseen force. Fans are thrilled to see Cage back in the iconic role, which will bring a unique fusion of superhero action with gritty, noir aesthetics. The series will dive deep into the world of crime, corruption, and moral dilemmas, with a plot revolving around a mysterious investigation in a New York City tangled in secrets and danger(

Joining Cage in the cast are Brendon Gleeson, who plays the show’s villain, and Lamorne Morris, Li Jun Li, and Jack Huston in supporting roles. The show, developed by Amazon Prime and MGM+, is expected to consist of eight episodes and promises a visual style akin to a "pop-art mashup," adding a distinctive flair to the typical superhero genre(

With Spider-Noir set to launch on MGM+ before streaming globally on Amazon Prime Video, anticipation is growing. Fans of both Marvel and Cage are eager to see how this series expands Sony's Marvel universe in a fresh, shadowy direction.
