According to the scooper, Marvel has finally solidified the overarching story. The next step involves refining the script, with filming expected to proceed later this year in Mexico or Brazil. Since its announcement in mid-2019, "Blade" has cycled through multiple directors and writers. Among them are Nic Pizzolatto, Michael Green, Beau DeMayo, Stacy Osei-Kuffour, and Michael Starrbury. A casting call has been issued for the film's main male villain, though specific character details remain undisclosed. Aaron Pierre recently stepped down from a villain role.
