Marvel Studios has officially unveiled the highly anticipated second trailer for "Captain America: Brave New World," the studio's first major cinematic entry of 2025, at the D23 Brazil convention. This fourth installment in the "Captain America" series marks a groundbreaking transition as Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson takes up the shield following Chris Evans' portrayal of Steve Rogers. Scheduled for a Valentine’s Day 2025 release, the film introduces a new era for the character while connecting to the events and themes of the hit Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

A New Captain Leads the Charge

"Captain America: Brave New World" explores how Sam Wilson, who initially struggled with the mantle in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, grows into his new role as Captain America. Anthony Mackie’s portrayal has evolved from the witty Falcon sidekick to the seasoned hero audiences now see in the trailer. Thunderbolt Ross Returns in a Surprising Twist

A major development in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is the introduction of Harrison Ford as the iconic Thunderbolt Ross, who now holds the significant position of U.S. President. Ford steps into the role after the passing of William Hurt, who had previously portrayed Ross.
