Nikon Supports Old Favorites with Latest Firmware Releases
This spring, Nikon is catching the eye not only with new firmware updates for its flagship DSLR, such as the D6, but also for the discontinued and extraordinary Nikon Coolpix P1000.
The P1000, known for its remarkable 24-3000mm optical zoom, represents a unique offering in Nikon's camera lineup. Despite being phased out, it along with the Nikon Coolpix P950, which still enjoys current status, both received updates focused on security enhancements like a revised default password setting post-reset.
Nikon’s commitment to supporting older models with such updates underscores its dedication to customer satisfaction and product longevity.
