"Superman" Set Photos Reveal Full Costume In Stunning Detail

Clear Shots Of David Corenswet In Full Superman Costume Emerge

Warner Bros. Pictures has been keeping fans on their toes with sparse updates regarding the highly anticipated new "Superman" film directed by James Gunn. Up until now, only a single official photo of David Corenswet in the iconic Superman suit had been released, showing him hunched over in a chair with the photo’s colors slightly distorted. However, the latest set photos offer a detailed look at Corenswet’s full Superman costume, delighting fans worldwide.

The Reveal: Clear Daylight Photos

Blurry and pixelated images from the set had surfaced recently, showing props and faded newspapers, but these did little to satiate fans' curiosity. The scenario changed dramatically this morning when high-quality set photos emerged from the filming location in Cleveland. These new images, taken in broad daylight, provide a crisp and clear view of Corenswet in his complete Superman attire.

Costume Details

In the new photos, Corenswet’s costume is revealed in its full glory. The color scheme of the suit appears lighter than previously suggested, with a bright blue hue complemented by vivid red and yellow accents. Fans of the traditional Superman look will be pleased to see the return of the classic red trunks. Another nostalgic touch is the yellow ‘S’ emblem on the back of his cape, confirmed by on-set sources.

Mister Terrific Joins the Scene

Adding to the excitement, the photos also feature Edi Gathegi in costume as Mister Terrific. The images show Gathegi and Corenswet sharing a scene, hinting at an intriguing dynamic between Superman and Mister Terrific in the upcoming film. The scene in question was filmed in downtown Cleveland, adding an authentic urban backdrop to the superhero action.

Production and Release

Filming for James Gunn’s "Superman" is scheduled to continue through August, with a projected release date in July 2025. As anticipation builds, these set photos serve as a tantalizing preview of what’s to come. For those eager to see the full set of photos, they are available on Cleveland.com.
