Haliey Welch, “Hawk Tuah Girl,” To Launch New Podcast ‘Talk Tuah’ With Betr Media

Haliey Welch, famously known as the "Hawk Tuah Girl," is ready to take her internet fame to the next level. Welch, who skyrocketed to social media stardom this year, will soon launch her new podcast, Talk Tuah, under Jake Paul’s Betr Media. The weekly show, premiering on September 10, promises a blend of comedy, candid conversations, and Welch’s signature Southern charm.

A Fresh Voice in the Podcast World

Welch’s journey from viral sensation to podcast host has been nothing short of remarkable. Known for her quick wit and unapologetic personality, she first caught the public eye with a viral on-the-street interview with Tim & Dee TV earlier this summer. Since then, her popularity has surged, leading her to high-profile appearances with artists like Zach Bryan and a growing Instagram following of over two million fans.

Talk Tuah will feature Welch’s distinctive comedic style, highlighting lively discussions and engaging interviews. The podcast’s first guest, comedian Whitney Cummings, will set the tone for a show that aims to blend humor with heart. Upcoming episodes will welcome other well-known personalities, including TikTok star Josh Richards and the media company’s co-founder Jake Paul.

Betr Media’s Strategic Move

Betr Media, the company behind Welch’s new venture, was founded by Jake Paul and Joey Levy in 2022. Initially focusing on sports media and mobile betting, Betr has been expanding its content to include a range of shows such as BS w/ Jake Paul, Twin Talk with the Cavinder twins, and now, Welch’s Talk Tuah. The addition of Welch is part of a strategic effort to broaden the company's appeal and differentiate itself in the crowded digital media landscape.

“This is a major addition to the Betr Media family as we continue to strategically differentiate ourselves in the market,” said Mike Denevi, Betr’s head of media. “Haliey Welch is a bona fide superstar, and her charisma, unique perspective, and innate connection with her audience make her the perfect fit for our platform. Talk Tuah will bring a fresh and dynamic voice to our content lineup, and we can’t wait for our audience and brand sponsors to connect with Haliey in an authentic way that embodies the ethos of Betr Media as a whole.”

Welch’s Vision for Talk Tuah

Haliey Welch is ecstatic about her latest opportunity, saying, “Y’all kept asking, ‘What’s next?’ Well, this is it! I’m so thankful to have my own podcast where you’ll discover the real Haliey Welch. I’m delighted to join the team at Betr who fully gets me. Together, we’re going to introduce the world to Talk Tuah every Tuesday, starting Sept. 10. My show will have a little of everything — great guests, laughs, chitchats about your pets, relationship pointers, sports, and, of course, some down-home Southern charm.”

In the trailer for the new podcast, Welch is seen recording an episode and riding a jet ski, exclaiming, “Y’all really thought I was done? I’m just getting started, baby.” Her infectious energy and down-to-earth nature are expected to resonate with fans and newcomers alike.

A Star on the Rise

At just 21 years old, Haliey Welch’s ascent to fame has been driven not just by her social media prowess but also by her distinct voice and relatable persona. She’s already made significant strides, launching a charitable fund called Paws Across America and building a management partnership with The Penthouse. Despite offers from reality TV and Hollywood, Welch and her team have been strategic about her next moves, choosing projects that align with her vision and personal brand.

Jonnie Forster, founder of The Penthouse and Welch’s manager, emphasized the importance of connecting directly with fans. “People just want to talk with her and get to know her more,” Forster explained, hinting at the potential for Welch to venture further into unscripted TV in the future.

Talk Tuah isn’t just another podcast; it’s a new platform for Welch to showcase her personality and connect more deeply with her audience. As the debut date approaches, anticipation is building for what Welch will bring to the table in her latest endeavor.
